Bob Sanderson

Whilst having a thirty-year career in Telecoms and IT sales, which included presenting complex solutions at board level, Bob studied Drama part time at Stourbridge College. There he achieved his associate diploma with LAMDA which spurred him on to give up the day job and become a professional actor.

Bob had also been a part time musician and singer since the age of 15 and added these skills to his new work portfolio. He has worked with Tempus Fugit since 2002 and has given hundreds of performances to primary schools around the Midlands and beyond. In addition, he has notched up TV, short film and voice over credits and, being of a "certain age", has been able to inject real life experiences into the Q/A sessions with the children.

Our Belief

Over the past 21 years Tempus Fugit Educational Theatre Limited has been our sole source of income. We perform full time, every single day, during the academic year, and occasionally in the holidays as well. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and flexibility, and know that when a school contracts us in, it is a considerable financial and emotional outlay on their behalf.  Please look at our list of a small sample section of our regular, satisfied customers and please feel free to contact them for references if you wish. This can be found on our Press and Quotes page under Recent Bookings or under our Bookings section on the final page.

We believe children learn best when they are having FUN and when they are ACTIVELY INVOLVED in the Drama! With this in mind ALL our shows are FULLY INTERACTIVE. Each show has been specifically devised to provide a full FUN FILLED hour of LEARNING and ENTERTAINMENT!

About Us

All our shows have been devised and created by fully trained and experienced teachers. What is more all our performers are trained experienced teachers and facilitators, some with many years experience in the Primary Sector.
We are all enhanced CRB checked.

Emma Burns

After studying music at Durham University, Emma enjoyed lengthy contracts in children's theatre after which she joined the resident theatre company at Wigan Pier, playing the infamous Victorian schoolmistress. She then went on to play the role of Vi Petty in the UK tour and West End production of "Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story" for a number of years. Prior to joining Tempus Fugit in 2004, Emma was lucky enough to perform on board the MV Oriana (CMC Theatre Company), playing roles such as Miss Marple ("A Murder is Announced") and Miss Lynch ("Grease").
Now on dry land, Emma also teaches piano and sings in "Rococo" a Midlands-based function band.
Her most notable achievement though is becoming a mum in October 2008 to baby Austin!
