Grace Darling and the RNLI
We meet Grace Darling heroin of the seas! She talks to us about her life as a lighthouse keepers daughter and with the help of the children re-enacts the sequence of events that lead to the courageous recovery of the crew of the SS Forfarshire on September 7th 1838. We learn about her resulting fame and the creation of the RNLI.
