Ancient Greek Civilisation
We meet Daphne, a rhapsoidoi, (street entertainer) from Sparta, who introduces us to some of the customs and pastimes of the ancient Greeks. We are given a glimpse into how Greeks lived, their laws, their society, their social standing and the role of women. We are taught a Greek song and dance, and some children will be given the opportunity to try on costumes and be involved in the drama!
