Jubilee

A show specifically written to commemorate the Queens Diamond Jubilee!

We meet Queen Elizabeth II who will talk to us about her life as Queen, the highs and the lows, in short a potted history of the accession and reign of Queen Elizabeth II. We will hear of the celebrations and activities surrounding her Diamond Jubilee. Special reference will be given to how other Kings and Queens of England have celebrated their Jubilee’s, in particular Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee and celebration during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I.
This is an hour long audience with Queen Elizabeth II.

The cost is £175 per show catering for up to 90 children, plus £35 towards travel plus VAT (as with all our shows if you require extra children to attend we charge an additional £2.50 per child over the usual 90)
However if you were hoping to have this as a whole school event to celebrate the Jubilee we can perform it for £250 plus VAT.

The Olympics

This is a slightly different show from our usual Ancient Greek Civilization Show focusing on The Olympics!
We meet Antheas a Greek Artisan who is selling souvenirs of the Olympic Games. She teaches the children about the Ancient Greek Olympics, the customs and traditions in an interactive way, dressing some chidren in Greek costume. The show will culminate in a masked play to tell the story of the first Olympics.

All shows cost £195 plus vat catering for up to 90 children (as with all our shows if you require extra children to attend we charge an additional £2.50 per child over the usual 90)

A Play in a Day!
A full day workshop for one class specifically devised to encourage storytelling skills and to develop the children’s confidence in performing. Suitable at the beginning of a topic to stimulate your creative juices or at the end of a topic to consolidate all you have learned!  These days can be tailored to your specific requirements on themes of your choice or on the following themes:-

Greek Theatre/ Greek Myths
Our actor will work with one class to prepare a half hour Greek Theatre performance on the theme of a favourite Greek Myth, using masks, costumes and improvisation which will then be performed in the afternoon  to the whole school or to a selected group of parents and pupils. This is a chance for pupils to build upon their knowledge of Greek Theatre and Greek Myths. All costumes and masks will be provided.

Traditional Tales
