Red Riding Hood and George and The Dragon
We meet the Storyteller. He tells us two fairytales from different parts of the world. The first is Red Riding Cap which comes from Germany, better know in this country as Little Red Riding Hood. The children help bring the story to life through Drama and Music. The second tale is of Saint George and the Dragon, often thought to be an English story, it originates from Persia. In it we meet the terrible dragon and the valiant Saint George. Children are taught a dragon slaying song, and finish with a triumphant celebratory dance.
