The day will begin with our brand new World War I History show which involves the children in many different aspects of Life in the trenches and many World War I songs.
After this the children will be taught an army drill and then they will learn a variety of World war I songs with Robert Vicar accompanying the children on the piano and Suzy Wilson leading the singing. Then, through improvisation, the children will create a brief performance/ assembly to be performed to the rest of the school
(and invited parents and guests at your discretion), giving a brief but memorable summary of all that they have learnt about World War I. We will also bring in a number of World War I artefacts, some authentic, some representational, for the children to look at and handle.
